Bula, my name is Tracey Ann Farrington, I am a Fiji based fashion designer specializing in design, manufacturing, wholesaling & retailing of my exclusive luxury resort wear brand. Moving from St.Kilda beach to Bondi Beach in Sydney, growing up by the beach was the motivation and influence for my passion of beach and resort lifestyle. Attaining my qualification in clothing construction, design and technical skills from the prestigious East Sydney School of fashion, in 1983, I launched my first fashion business in Surry Hills, the heart of Sydney's rag trade. Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge London & Hong Kong. My core business being design, manufacture and wholesale of women's fashion and accessories. As a supplier to fashion boutiques Australia wide, my portfolio included supply to Myer and David Jones stores nationally and consecutively for over 20 years. I also specialized in brand development, designing and producing accessories for prominent chain stores such as Wittner, Sportsgirl, Portmans, Witchery & Kookai.

The flagship retail boutique is called Beach Boutique Fiji, the management team includes her son Jayden Liu and business manager Nischal Diveek.

Moving to the Fiji in 2010 with my then-Fijian husband and our son Jayden. I discovered my new founded love for life in the Fiji Islands. 13 years later, Fiji has given me the opportunity to seriously cultivate my skills as a textile designer. Using natural fibre yarn fabrics, predominantly in a georgette weave, which creates a beautiful drape and flow for my fabric designs. I proudly manufacture my collections in Nadi Fiji. I operate a vertical business controlling the entire flow of goods, from design to sale, showcasing Fiji Fashion at an International standard. My flagship retail boutique, is my headquarters showcasing my collections for my valuable wholesale clients. Wholesale represents a large percentage of my turnover, including Tokoriki island resort, Vomo, and Kokomo to name just a few. Recognizing our position in the market from middle to upper end, creating garments with a high perceived value, at an affordable middle market price for locals and tourists.

June 2023 is an important and exciting month, with the opening of my new boutique at Planation Island Resort. Fiji Fashion Week Resort Luxe Show is on Saturday, June 3rd at Vodafone Arena in Suva where I will showcase my latest collection alongside 11 talented designers.
