Pinto Industries Ltd - Labasa

The Company, Pinto Industries Limited was founded in 1983 by Mr. Harak Narayan. The first manufacturing factory was based in Vunivau, Labasa on a 400sqm land which only manufactured cleaning brushes with ten staff employed. There were two manufacturing machines purchased initially and later expanded to ten however, most of the operations were done manually and the processes were quite labor intensive. At present, Pinto Industries has managed to acquire ten Industrial Lots in Labasa, one in Suva and four factories in Namara. Employing over 200 staff and having over 250 production machines, the company has become one of the largest Manufacturing businesses in the Northern Division of Fiji.
